7075 Aerospace aluminum - tubing in different sizes
Information on this article
Description
Aluminum 7075, commercially known as Ergal, is an aluminum and zinc alloy primarily used in the aerospace field, particularly in structural components. It is characterized by being the lightest aluminum alloy and, from a mechanical perspective, more resistant to impacts, stresses, weight, and torsion. It is also the aluminum alloy least prone to "thermal expansion" making it more suitable for outdoor use as it better withstands temperature changes (hot and cold). In other words, the perfect construction material for all fire equipment. Now available in various pre-cut formats in lengths commonly used by most builders.
