Description

Introducing the new  SLIM Aerial Silks

A groundbreaking solution born from our pursuit of innovation and collaboration with the global aerial community. Developed in response to feedback from professional instructors worldwide, we identified the need for a silk that addresses the challenge of  standard-width fabrics for individuals with smaller hands or developing grip strength. Engineered in Italy, the SLIM silks feature a 130cm width, making gripping and climbing significantly more intuitive and secure. Constructed from a unique, soft 100% polyester material treated to minimize longitudinal stretch, it offers exceptional durability and safety without compromising on the luxurious feel. This silk is the ideal choice not only for children and beginners but also for amateurs who are still building the necessary hand strength for safe and easy climbing.

We created the SLIM silks to support the next generation of aerialists and the growth of our community, as aerial arts continue to inspire new gyms and enthusiasts around the world, expecting the SLIM silks to become the new industry standard for training.

We often read about stretch grade  of aerial silks published by other traders who use this criteria to describe the silks they sell. We strongly encourage you to reflect on the quality of this type of information. What does 10% or medium stretch means when you don't have a standard to refer to? If the acrobat or the practitioner weighs 50 or 100 kg will the silks stretch the same way? And if the silk used is 8 or 20 meters long will it work exactly the same way?  We therefore recommend first of all to verify that the aerial silks are provided with an adequate certification of conformity with the relative breaking load limit  and  working load limit of use,  and as a basic criteria of choice,  make sure that they are 100% polyester and totally free of any elastic components like LYCRA. Great elasticity makes the practice much more tiring and shortens the life span of the silks.

AERIAL DANCE SILKS: INSTALLATION
Installing a Circus Division aerial dance silk set is an intuitive process within everyone's reach, without the need for special skills or complicated masonry work, especially if you have a hook and a plate for aerial silks. For the installation, you will only need one of our certified silks, to be attached doubled in length, and a secure anchoring device to mount on the ceiling (plate). Safety is paramount for us, so it is crucial that the area selected for installation is adequately high and that the guidelines provided with the product are followed.
